The spring 2016 Latin American and Latina/o Lecture Series begins next week. Historian Michelle Chase will be on campus on Wednesday, February 17th from 4-6pm in L.61NB to discuss her research on the often-overlooked roles played by women in the anti-Batista revolutionary movements of 1950s Cuba. Professor Chase is the author of Revolution Within the Revolution: Women and Gender Politics in Cuba, 1952-1962. (UNC Press, 2015). All LLS events are free and open to the public. Join us!
